About Permanent Eyebrows

With over 25 years of experience doing permanent makeup, this business was built on consistency, integrity, and results that stand the test of time. Long before permanent makeup and lash extensions became mainstream, the focus here has always been on quality over trends, meticulous technique, and client satisfaction above all else. Every service is performed with care, precision, and respect for your comfort — because beautiful results should never come at the expense of how you feel during the process.

In addition to decades of hands-on experience, you’re in uniquely qualified hands. As a Registered Nurse, with a background working in a well-known plastic surgery practice in San Diego, safety, sanitation, and anatomy have always been foundational to every procedure. That medical mindset continues today through ongoing work as a recovery room nurse at an outpatient surgery center in Fort Worth, ensuring that the highest standards of cleanliness, professionalism, and client care are never compromised. This combination of medical training and aesthetic expertise offers clients an added level of confidence and peace of mind.

After relocating to Texas in 2010 to raise a family near loved ones, the business was thoughtfully rebuilt and has since become a trusted destination for clients in Paradise and surrounding communities, including Decatur, Bridgeport, Springtown, Runaway Bay, and Chico. Many clients travel specifically for the experience, attention to detail, and natural-looking results that have defined this salon for decades. Here, you’re not just another appointment — you’re cared for by someone who values long-term relationships, honest results, and helping you look like the best version of yourself.

What is Microblading?

Microblading is a form of permanent eyebrow makeup that uses ultra-fine, hair-like strokes to enhance the natural shape of your brows. When done correctly, microblading creates soft, realistic eyebrows that blend seamlessly with your natural hair — never harsh, blocky, or overdone. Eyebrows frame the face, define expression, and bring balance to your features, making them one of the most impactful enhancements you can make. Thoughtfully designed brows can make you look more youthful, refreshed, and polished — even with little to no other makeup.

One of the biggest benefits of permanent eyebrows is how much they simplify your daily routine. No more penciling, filling, blending, or worrying about brows wiping off, smudging, fading, or disappearing with exercise, perspiration, swimming, or humid Texas heat. You’ll wake up every morning with brows already in place, saving time while still looking put together and confident. For many women, especially those with thinning brows, uneven growth, or sparse areas from over-plucking or aging, microblading restores structure and symmetry effortlessly.

Comfort, safety, and customization are central to every eyebrow procedure. As a Registered Nurse with 25 years of permanent makeup experience, advanced anesthetics are used to keep the process comfortable and low-stress. Before any pigment is applied, time is spent carefully mapping and drawing your brows, allowing you to preview the shape and give feedback so we refine them together. Color selection is a collaborative process as well — you’ll be shown options and guided based on skin tone, hair color, and long-term results. A professional rule always followed here: when choosing between shades, go lighter. Pigment can always be built up or darkened, but subtle, natural brows age better and offer the most flexibility over time.

The result is natural-looking, hair-stroke eyebrows designed specifically for your face — brows that move with your expressions, enhance your features, and look beautiful in every setting, from bare-faced mornings to fully dressed evenings.

The Process

The process begins with a consultation which can be done separately or on the same day as the procedure. Next is choosing a color and drawing the brow shape. Finally, numbing and the brow procedure.

Step 1: Consultation

Every microblading experience begins with a personal consultation, lasting approximately 20–30 minutes. During this time, we’ll discuss your goals for permanent eyebrows, review the microblading process, and go over what to expect before, during, and after the procedure. We’ll cover important topics such as aftercare instructions, the healing timeline, and realistic results so you feel informed and confident moving forward. This consultation ensures you understand the entire process and have the opportunity to ask questions before any permanent makeup is performed.

Step 2: Shape & Color

At your procedure appointment, we revisit your eyebrow shape and color preferences in detail. This is one of the most important steps in achieving natural-looking microbladed brows. Time is spent carefully measuring, mapping, and drawing a custom brow pattern, ensuring balance, symmetry, and a shape that complements your facial structure. You’ll see the drawn pattern before anything permanent is applied and will have plenty of opportunity to request adjustments. Once the shape is finalized, we review pigment options and select a color that closely matches your natural hair color and skin tone. Professional guidance is always provided to ensure the color is flattering and ages well. This design phase typically takes 15–30 minutes and sets the foundation for beautiful, long-lasting results.

Step 3: The Procedure

Once the shape and color are approved, the numbing process begins to ensure your comfort. As a Registered Nurse, advanced anesthetics are used to keep the procedure as comfortable and stress-free as possible. After the area is numb, the brows are created using a rotary tattoo pen with a specialized needle, producing ultra-fine strokes that closely mimic the appearance of real eyebrow hairs. This technique results in soft, subtle, hair-like brows rather than heavy or solid-looking pigment. The actual microblading portion of the appointment typically takes 30–40 minutes, with precision and attention to detail at every step.

Step 4: Healing & Touch-Up

Healing after microblading is generally easy with minimal downtime. Immediately following the procedure, brows and surrounding skin may appear slightly red or puffy for an hour or two — similar to the irritation after waxing or threading. The pigment will look darker and more intense for the first 3–4 days, which is normal and expected. For the first four days, clients apply a very small amount of moisturizing ointment (such as Aquaphor or coconut oil) using a cotton swab. Around day four, the surface pigment will begin to dry and gently flake, revealing the healed color underneath. A follow-up touch-up appointment is scheduled about four weeks later to perfect any lighter areas. After that, maintenance touch-ups are typically needed every 1–2 years, depending on pigment color and skin type — lighter shades fade faster than darker ones. At each touch-up, both brows are refreshed evenly for consistent, long-lasting results.

Who is a Good Candidate?

  • Women with thin, sparse, uneven, or over-plucked eyebrows
  • Women with active lifestyles (pickleball, golf, swimming, walking, yoga, or gym workouts) who want brows that won’t wipe off
  • Women who want to simplify their morning routine and reduce daily makeup time
  • Women with vision challenges who have difficulty applying eyebrow makeup
  • Women with shaky hands or hand tremors that make makeup application frustrating
  • Women experiencing hair thinning due to aging, hormones, or medical conditions
  • Women who want to look naturally polished with minimal effort

Benefits of Permanent Eyebrows

Permanent eyebrows can be truly life-changing, especially for women who want to look polished without the daily effort of applying makeup. Well-designed brows frame the face, enhance expression, and bring balance to your features, making you look more awake and put together the moment you wake up. With permanent eyebrows, there’s no need to pencil, powder, or blend — your brows are already in place every morning, saving time and eliminating frustration.

Another major benefit is freedom. Permanent eyebrows do not smudge, wipe off, or disappear with perspiration, swimming, or physical activity. Whether you’re playing pickleball, golfing in the Texas heat, swimming, traveling, or simply living an active lifestyle, your brows stay intact. They’re also ideal for women who struggle with eyesight changes, shaky hands, or hand tremors that make precise makeup application difficult. Permanent eyebrows remove that stress entirely, offering consistent, natural-looking results every day.
